En el siglo XIX el escritor romántico portugués Almeida Garrett se preguntaba si «¿se ha calculado el número de personas que es necesario condenar a la miseria, al trabajo desproporcionado, a la desmoralización, a la infamia, a la ignorancia, a la desgracia invencible, a la penuria absoluta, para producir un rico?». Después de conocer las medidas del gobierno de Zapatero, ¿no se hacen la misma pregunta?

Los recortes que se proponen son socialmente muy graves y vienen –dicen- para paliar la crisis y combatir el elevado déficit en el que navega nuestra economía. Aún sabiendo que España tiene un gasto público (e importantes necesidades sociales por cubrir) muy bajo en comparación con otros países de Europa, hay otros capítulos presupuestarios donde sí sería pertinente y beneficioso utilizar las tijeras. Frente a bajar las pensiones propongo anular inversiones en armamento como el avión de combate EF-2000, blindados Leopard y otras cacharrerías que ascienden a 2.510 millones de euros al año; frente a reducir en 600 millones de euros la ayuda al desarrollo sería preferible llamar a la retirada de nuestra tropa que ‘lucha sin cuartel’ contra los ‘terribles piratas somalíes’; y así con otros gastos militares que ascienden a la sorprendente cifra del gasto -en fregados y combatientes- de 400€ por habitante del Estado español al año.

Pero estas recetas las ignoran nuestros gobernantes, Obama y el FMI. Aunque los datos son elocuentes. Nuestra dañada economía tiene previsto dedicar más de 18.000 millones de euros a gasto militar (frente a los 15.000 millones de ahorro que se obtendrán de las medidas de Zapatero), según los datos de Justicia y Paz, donde contabiliza los gastos propios del Ministerio de Defensa y muchas otras partidas inequívocamente militares agazapadas en capítulos de otros ministerios, como la contribución a la OTAN que aparece en el Ministerio de Exteriores o el gasto en Investigación y Desarrollo militar que lo cubre el Ministerio de Industria.

Para acabar, es posible que alguien eluda a la contención que ya el Ministerio de Defensa está haciendo bajo esta crisis. Los 18.000 millones de presupuesto para el 2010 representarían una disminución del 2’4% respecto al gasto del 2009. Pero, ojo, con estos dineros de la guerra suele suceder que al cierre del ejercicio los presupuestos, las presunciones, no se cumplen, y se acaban gastando más de lo acordado. Que si un conflicto imprevisto, que si estos helicópteros podrían matar mejor, que si intercambiemos tecnología con Israel…

ACLARACIÓN:La descarga de la canción sería un delito con pena de 6 meses a dos años. El hurto de la discografía en El Corte Inglés ni siquiera sería un delito, sino una simple falta (art. 623.1 del Código Penal).




2º SUPUESTO


a) CARMENse descarga una canción de Internet.

b) CARMENva a hurtar a El Corte Inglés y, como se la va la mano, se lleva cincuenta compactos, por valor global de 1.000 euros.

ACLARACIÓN:Seguiría siendo más grave la descarga de Internet. El hurto sería un delito, porque supera los 400 euros, pero sería de menor pena que la descarga (art. 234 del Código Penal).




3er. SUPUESTO


a) JOAQUÍN, en el pleno uso de sus facultades mentales, se descarga una canción de Malena Gracia.

b) JOAQUINen un descuido de Malena Gracia, se lleva su coche y lo devuelve 40 horas después.

ACLARACIÓN:Sería mas grave la descarga. El hurto de uso de vehículo tiene menos pena, a tenor del articulo 244.1 del Código Penal.




4º SUPUESTO


a) Ochopersonas se intercambian copias de su música favorita.

b) Ochopersonas participan en una riña tumultuosa utilizando medios o instrumentos que pueden poner en peligro sus vidas o su integridad física.

ACLARACIÓN:Es menos grave participar en una pelea que participar en el intercambio de compactos. Participar en una riña tumultuosa tiene una pena de tres meses a un año (art. 154 del Código Penal)y el intercambio tendría una pena de 6 meses a 2 años (art. 270 del Código Penal). Si algún día te ves obligado a elegir entre participar en un intercambio de copias de CDs o participar en una pelea masiva, escoge siempre la segunda opción, que es obviamente menos reprobable.




5º SUPUESTO


a) JUANcopia la última película de su director favorito de un DVD que le presta su secretaria Susana.

b) JUAN,aprovechando su superioridad jerárquica en el trabajo, acosa sexualmente a su secretaria Susana.

ACLARACIÓN:El acoso sexual tendría menos pena según el artículo 184.2 del Código Penal.




6º SUPUESTO


a) MÓNICA Y CRISTINAvan a un colegio y distribuyen entre los alumnos de preescolar copias de películas educativas de dibujos animados protegidas por copyright y sin autorización de los autores.

b) MÓNICA Y CRISTINAvan a un colegio y distribuyen entre los alumnos de preescolar películas pornográficas protagonizadas y creadas por la pareja.

ACLARACIÓN:La acción menos grave es la de distribuir material pornográfico a menores según el articulo 186 del Código Penal. La distribución de copias de material con copyright sería un delito al existir un lucro consistente en el ahorro conseguido por eludir el pago de los originales cuyas copias han sido objeto de distribución.




7º SUPUESTO


a) NACHO, que es un bromista, le copia a su amigo el último disco de Andy y Lucas, diciéndole que es el 'Kill'em All' de Metallica.

b) NACHO, que es un bromista, deja una jeringuilla infectada de SIDA en un parque público.

ACLARACIÓN:La segunda broma sería menos grave, a tenor del artículo 630 del Código Penal




8º SUPUESTO


a) ANTONIOfotocopia una página de un libro.

b) ANTONIOle da un par de puñetazos a su amigo por recomendarle ir a ver la película 'La Jungla 4.0'.

ACLARACIÓN:La acción más grave desde un punto de vista penal sería la 'a', puesto que la reproducción, incluso parcial, seria un delito con pena de 6 meses a dos años de prisión y multa de 12 a 24 meses. Los puñetazos, si no precisaron una asistencia médica o quirúrgica, serían tan solo una falta en virtud de lo dispuesto en el artículo 617 en relación con el 147 del Código Penal.

¡A ver si le damos a esto un paseo por toda la red y, por verguenza o decencia, algún legislador pone algún remedio... aunque lo dudo!

Escuelas estadounidenses espiaban a los alumnos en sus casas a través de los portátiles

En estos tiempos que corren donde la tecnología está muy extendida y podemos encontrarnos con una cámara de vigilancia en cualquier esquina o compartir nuestra localización física con miles de personas, el tema de la pérdida de privacidad y los peligros que ello conlleva reaparece cada muy poco tiempo. Pues con un nuevo caso protagonizado por el binomio privacidad-tecnología vengo en esta ocasión, y es de los que tras conocerlo muchos calificarán de WTF sin duda.

Resulta que dos colegios de secundaria administrados por el distrito de escuelas públicas Lower Marion School (LMSD) del Condado de Montgomery, Pennsylvania, proporcionó portátiles a 1.800 estudiantes para facilitarles el estudiar tanto en los colegios como en sus casas. Hasta aquí todo estupendo, el problema está en que dichos portátiles repartidos entre los alumnos también servían a los docentes de los centros para espiar a los estudiantes en sus casas.

El padre de uno de estos alumnos, Michael Robbins, al que le dieron un portátil fue quien descubrió que los funcionarios podían espiar a su hijo, y a él mismo, mediante la webcam del mentado aparato. El descubrimiento llegó por el mes de noviembre cuando el subdirector de la Harriton High School acusó al hijo de Robbins de haber tenido “una conducta inapropiada en su casa” y mostró como prueba para sustentar tal acusación una foto tomada por la webcam del portátil. Tras los primeros momentos de estupefacción Robbins fue a hablar con el subdirector y este efectivamente le confirmó que los portátiles repartidos incorporaban un sistema para poder activar la cámara web de los mismos de forma remota y visualizar y capturar imágenes de cualquier cosa que se encontrara frente al equipo.

Como era de esperar tras descubrirse todo este sin sentido los Robbins junto con otras familias afectadas pusieron demanda contra el distrito Lower Marion School por infringir el derecho a la privacidad de los alumnos y sus familias. Por su parte los del LMSD han dicho que el sistema que permite controlar las webcams, el cual han desactivado tras todo el revuelo, solamente se instaló como medida para recuperar los equipos en caso de pérdida o robo.

Estamos ante un WTF épico y de los que dan miedo ya que una cosa es proporcionar información personal de forma voluntaria (como hacemos muchos en redes sociales por ejemplo) y otra muy distinta que un organismo público utilice tecnología para espiar a menores y sus familias. Aunque los de la LMSD argumentan que ese no era el objetivo prioritario el simple hecho de instalar el sistema, además a espaldas de los padres, es una tremenda irresponsabilidad y personalmente creo también que se han pasado por el arco del triunfo unas cuantas leyes, pero eso ya lo aclarará el señor juez.

"Hermes" , el Gran Hermano

Un consorcio de investigadores europeos coordinado por el Centro de Visión por Computador (CVC) de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB) ha desarrollado 'Hermes', un sistema integrado por cámaras de vídeo y software que es capaz de reconocer y prever el comportamiento humano, así como de describirlo en lenguaje natural.

'Hermes' (siglas de Human Expressive Representations of Motion and their Evalutation in Sequences) se basa en el análisis del comportamiento humano a partir de secuencias de vídeo capturadas con tres niveles de enfoque: el del individuo, como un objeto relativamente alejado; el de su cuerpo, con una proximidad media que permite analizar sus posturas; y el del rostro, que permite estudiar con detalle sus expresiones faciales. La información obtenida, procesada por algoritmos de visión por computador y de inteligencia artificial, permite al sistema aprender y reconocer patrones de movimiento.

A partir de los movimientos aprendidos, 'Hermes' es capaz de analizar y descubrir potenciales comportamientos inusuales y de alertar sobre ellos. Por ejemplo, el sistema enviaría un aviso al centro de control de una estación de metro al captar la imagen de un individuo que intenta bajar a la vía del tren; o alertaría si una persona anciana que vive sola sufre una caída. Además de las numerosas aplicaciones del invento en el ámbito de la vigilancia inteligente y la prevención de accidentes y delitos, los investigadores consideran que también tiene un gran potencial como herramienta de estudio en otros campos, como el marketing o la psicología.

El proyecto, que ha tenido una duración de tres años y medio y un presupuesto de 2.100.000 euros, ha contado con la participación de investigadores de cinco de los grupos de investigación más reconocidos de Europa en esta área y de la empresa Answare Technologies, especializada en tecnologías de la información y comunicación.

Cambio climático: 100 razones por las que el calentamiento global es natural. Climagate y la estafa de Copenhague

The report, by the respected European Foundation, also argues that a higher level of carbon dioxide (CO2) – the main greenhouse gas – is not a problem because it helps to boost crop yields.

And it claims that the warming we are now experiencing is “mostly natural”, pointing to historic shifts in the climate such as when Vikings farmed on Greenland in medieval times.

Political analyst Jim McConalogue, who wrote the report, said: “This demonstrates how tenuous, improper and indeed false the scientific and political claims are for man-made global warming, from claims that climate change can be controlled by human activity to the proposition that CO2 emissions represent a severe threat to our way of life, when in fact there is little evidence to support any of these claims.”

He warned that the Copenhagen climate summit was likely to lead to “nonsensical targets” to reduce emissions, which would result in a “burdensome regulatory agenda”. After Copenhagen, voters around the world “will see what travesty has been done in their name, as foolish politicians and indifferent industry associations have engulfed their countries in emissions legislation”.

The report was issued as Gordon Brown prepared to fly out to the 192-nation Copenhagen summit today – two days early – vowing to work “tirelessly” to get a lasting deal.

The talks were yesterday plunged into chaos by a half-day walkout by developing nations angry at an alleged “stitch-up” by richer countries who are responsible for most greenhouse gas emissions.

Oxfam executive director Jeremy Hobbs said: “Africa has pulled the emergency cord to avoid a train crash at the end of the week.

“This not about blocking the talks – it is about whether rich countries are ready to guarantee action on climate change and the survival of people in Africa and across the world.”

Meanwhile, former US vice-president Al Gore – who won a Nobel Prize for his work on climate change – told the conference that new data suggested there was a 75 per cent chance the entire Arctic polar ice cap may disappear every summer within seven years.

At the weekend the Environment Agency said climate change could empty rivers in southern England of trout and salmon while rising sea levels would destroy the salt marshes and mudflats needed by migrating birds.

But at the European Foundation, Mr McConalogue rattled through his explanation of why global warming theories are wrong and insisted that solar activity was primarily responsible for climate change.

He said: “Since the cause of global warming is mostly natural, then there is in actual fact very little we can do about it. We are still not able to control the sun.”

The Met Office said the only way to explain the changing climate was through a combination of natural and man-made factors.

A spokesman said: “The climate has always and will always change. This natural variability is caused by various cycles, including solar activity, volcanic eruptions and ocean circulations.

“Even with these elements factored in to the complex climate projection models run by the Met Office, temperature increases – and perhaps more importantly, the rate of temperature increase – can only be mirrored by the amount of greenhouse gases that are warming the atmosphere.

“It is not a coincidence that this rapid warming has occurred since the industrial revolution in the mid-19th century.”

HERE are the 100 reasons, released in a dossier issued by the European Foundation, why climate change is natural and not man-made:

1) There is “no real scientific proof” that the current warming is caused by the rise of greenhouse gases from man’s activity.

2) Man-made carbon dioxide emissions throughout human history constitute less than 0.00022 percent of the total naturally emitted from the mantle of the earth during geological history.

3) Warmer periods of the Earth’s history came around 800 years before rises in CO2 levels.

4) After World War II, there was a huge surge in recorded CO2 emissions but global temperatures fell for four decades after 1940.

5) Throughout the Earth’s history, temperatures have often been warmer than now and CO2 levels have often been higher – more than ten times as high.

6) Significant changes in climate have continually occurred throughout geologic time.

7) The 0.7C increase in the average global temperature over the last hundred years is entirely consistent with well-established, long-term, natural climate trends.

8) The IPCC theory is driven by just 60 scientists and favourable reviewers not the 4,000 usually cited.

9) Leaked e-mails from British climate scientists – in a scandal known as “Climate-gate” - suggest that that has been manipulated to exaggerate global warming

10) A large body of scientific research suggests that the sun is responsible for the greater share of climate change during the past hundred years.

11) Politicians and activiists claim rising sea levels are a direct cause of global warming but sea levels rates have been increasing steadily since the last ice age 10,000 ago

12) Philip Stott, Emeritus Professor of Biogeography at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London says climate change is too complicated to be caused by just one factor, whether CO2 or clouds

13) Peter Lilley MP said last month that “fewer people in Britain than in any other country believe in the importance of global warming. 16) A Harvard University astrophysicist and geophysicist, Willie Soon, said he is “embarrassed and puzzled” by the shallow science in papers that support the proposition that the earth faces a climate crisis caused by global warming.

63) It is claimed that the average global temperature was relatively unchanging in pre-industrial times but sky-rocketed since 1900, and will increase by several degrees more over the next 100 years according to Penn State University researcher Michael Mann. There is no convincing empirical evidence that past climate was unchanging, nor that 20th century changes in average global temperature were unusual or unnatural.

64) Michael Mann of Penn State University has actually shown that the Medieval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age did in fact exist, which contrasts with his earlier work which produced the “hockey stick graph” which showed a constant temperature over the past thousand years or so followed by a recent dramatic upturn.

65) The globe’s current approach to climate change in which major industrialised countries agree to nonsensical targets for their CO2 emissions by a given date, as it has been under the Kyoto system, is very expensive.

70) Richard Lindzen, Professor of Atmospheric Sciences at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, wrote: “The notion of a static, unchanging climate is foreign to the history of the Earth or any other planet with a fluid envelope. Such hysteria (over global warming) simply represents the scientific illiteracy of much of the public, the susceptibility of the public to the substitution of repetition for truth.”

71) Despite the 1997 Kyoto Protocol’s status as the flagship of the fight against climate change it has been a failure.

72) The first phase of the EU’s Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), which ran from 2005 to 2007 was a failure. Huge over-allocation of permits to pollute led to a collapse in the price of carbon from €33 to just €0.20 per tonne meaning the system did not reduce emissions at all.

73) The EU trading scheme, to manage carbon emissions has completely failed and actually allows European businesses to duck out of making their emissions reductions at home by offsetting, which means paying for cuts to be made overseas instead.

74) To date “cap and trade” carbon markets have done almost nothing to reduce emissions.

75) In the United States , the cap-and-trade is an approach designed to control carbon emissions and will impose huge costs upon American citizens via a carbon tax on all goods and services produced in the United States. The average family of four can expect to pay an additional $1700, or £1,043, more each year. It is predicted that the United States will lose more than 2 million jobs as the result of cap-and-trade schemes.

76) Dr Roy Spencer, a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, has indicated that out of the 21 climate models tracked by the IPCC the differences in warming exhibited by those models is mostly the result of different strengths of positive cloud feedback – and that increasing CO2 is insufficient to explain global-average warming in the last 50 to 100 years.

77) Why should politicians devote our scarce resources in a globally competitive world to a false and ill-defined problem, while ignoring the real problems the entire planet faces, such as: poverty, hunger, disease or terrorism.

78) A proper analysis of ice core records from the past 650,000 years demonstrates that temperature increases have come before, and not resulted from, increases in CO2 by hundreds of years.

79) Since the cause of global warming is mostly natural, then there is in actual fact very little we can do about it. (We are still not able to control the sun).

88) Whilst CO2 levels have indeed changed for various reasons, human and otherwise, just as they have throughout history, the CO2 content of the atmosphere has increased since the beginning of the industrial revolution, and the growth rate has now been constant for the past 25 years.

89) It is a myth that CO2 is a pollutant, because nitrogen forms 80% of our atmosphere and human beings could not live in 100% nitrogen either: CO2 is no more a pollutant than nitrogen is and CO2 is essential to life.

90) Politicians and climate activists make claims to rising sea levels but certain members in the IPCC chose an area to measure in Hong Kong that is subsiding. They used the record reading of 2.3 mm per year rise of sea level.

91) The accepted global average temperature statistics used by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change show that no ground-based warming has occurred since 1998.

92) If one factors in non-greenhouse influences such as El Nino events and large volcanic eruptions, lower atmosphere satellite-based temperature measurements show little, if any, global warming since 1979, a period over which atmospheric CO2 has increased by 55 ppm (17 per cent).

93) US President Barack Obama pledged to cut emissions by 2050 to equal those of 1910 when there were 92 million Americans. In 2050, there will be 420 million Americans, so Obama’s promise means that emissions per head will be approximately what they were in 1875. It simply will not happen.

94) The European Union has already agreed to cut emissions by 20 percent to 2020, compared with 1990 levels, and is willing to increase the target to 30 percent. However, these are unachievable and the EU has already massively failed with its Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), as EU emissions actually rose by 0.8 percent from 2005 to 2006 and are known to be well above the Kyoto goal.

95) Australia has stated it wants to slash greenhouse emissions by up to 25 percent below 2000 levels by 2020, but the pledges were so unpopular that the country’s Senate has voted against the carbon trading Bill, and the Opposition’s Party leader has now been ousted by a climate change sceptic.

96) Canada plans to reduce emissions by 20 percent compared with 2006 levels by 2020, representing approximately a 3 percent cut from 1990 levels but it simultaneously defends its Alberta tar sands emissions and its record as one of the world’s highest per-capita emissions setters.

97) India plans to reduce the ratio of emissions to production by 20-25 percent compared with 2005 levels by 2020, but all Government officials insist that since India has to grow for its development and poverty alleviation, it has to emit, because the economy is driven by carbon.

98) The Leipzig Declaration in 1996, was signed by 110 scientists who said: “We – along with many of our fellow citizens – are apprehensive about the climate treaty conference scheduled for Kyoto, Japan, in December 1997” and “based on all the evidence available to us, we cannot subscribe to the politically inspired world view that envisages climate catastrophes and calls for hasty actions.”

99) A US Oregon Petition Project stated “We urge the United States government to reject the global warming agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology, and damage the health and welfare of mankind. There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of CO2, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.”

100) A report by the Nongovernmental International Panel on Climate Change concluded “We find no support for the IPCC’s claim that climate observations during the twentieth century are either unprecedented or provide evidence of an anthropogenic effect on climate.”

En medio del invierno más frío en 40 años, con temperaturas de -30ºC en Moscú y de -20ºC en muchas otras capitales, la patraña del calentamiento no podía prosperar. Dios se ha apiadado de nosotros, para impedir que nos sigan saqueando una panda de demagogos. Los gobiernos más ricos estaban dispuestos a poner dinero, porque los temas medioambientales venden mucho electoralmente, aunque no sin que China e India se comprometieran a reducir emisiones, pero ¿cómo iba China a reducir su crecimiento y su bienestar por un supuesto calentamiento cuando medio país sufre una ola de frío extremo? ¿Cómo la India, con los Himalayas sufriendo las nevadas más intensas en décadas? China, además, no tiene que contentar a una izquierda ecologista para obtener su voto, porque ellos son la izquierda.

El resultado de la Cumbre del Clima. Excelente para los ciudadanos indefensos: se tomarán medidas cuando la temperatura suba en 2ºC, no ha subido ni un grado en un siglo, y cero en los últimos diez años; objetivos de reducción de emisiones para 2050, pero sin fecha para llegar a un máximo; y pasta la mínima, unos 6.000 millones de euros/año hasta 2020, lo mismo que Zapatero solito, con nuestro dinero, regala anualmente a las renovables. Un presidente sin ideas, incapaz de hacer frente a la crisis, pero dispuesto a los mayores dislates. Y esto es lo grave, porque el mayor contaminador de Europa, aparte la coda efectista de “la tierra no pertenece a nadie, sólo al viento”, ha decidido arruinarnos para conseguir los votos de más la izquierda y de los ecologistas.

Su apuesta por “una nueva era basada en las energías renovables” es un desastre para la competitividad, para el empleo y para el bienestar futuro de los españoles. Apuesta por las subvenciones brutales a los afines al poder –los que consiguen las concesiones- y por las energías más caras e ineficientes del planeta, mientras nuestros nuevos competidores tienen la electricidad y el gas a la mitad de precio. La “liberalización”, vocablo que en socialista significa “libertad de los monopolios para elevar los precios sin límite”, ha hecho subir el recibo de la luz un 17,5% desde julio y otro 20% a lo hará en 2010, y con la Ley de Economía Sostenible subirá otro 50%.

El cambio climático: una constante universal

El calentamiento global es la mayor estafa planetaria de los tiempos modernos. El cambio climático es una constante universal originada por numerosas variables, en las que destacan cambios en las corrientes oceánicas –si la corriente del Golfo cambiara su curso ligeramente, Europa entraría en una edad glacial- y en la radiación solar que oscila cíclicamente. Siempre lo ha habido y siempre lo habrá. En los últimos 420.000 años ha habido cuatro glaciaciones con sus periodos interglaciales, y en todos ellos la temperatura alcanzó niveles superiores a los actuales. Hace 8.000 años el desierto del Sahara era una selva, intercalada con épocas glaciales, documentada en el 2.200 a.C, que dejó a Egipto y los países de la zona al borde del hambre.

Más cerca de nosotros, en la España del Cid, en el año 1.000 los ríos españoles llevaban el doble de agua que en la actualidad, el Guadalquivir, por ejemplo, era navegable hasta Córdoba. Groenlandia estaba libre de hielos en la Edad Media. También en esa época hubo periodos cálidos en toda Europa, tanto que en el norte de Inglaterra se cultivaba la vid. En el siglo XVIII, por el contrario hubo un periodo de enorme frío, y los ejemplos son múltiples. Ninguno de estos cambios climáticos, tremendos por otra parte, ha estado causado por la actividad humana.

El estado del miedo

¿Se acuerdan ustedes del “agujero de ozono” en la Antártida, que dejaba ciegos a los pingüinos y a las focas, y que iba a destruir el mundo? Pues ni había agujero, ni dejaba ciego a nadie, ni nada de nada. Resulta que se trata de un fenómeno cíclico que se repite anualmente: al final del crudo invierno antártico, se producen una serie de reacciones fotoquímicas en la estratosfera que reducen la cantidad de ozono, en septiembre la cantidad de ozono llega a un mínimo, luego se recupera y en noviembre el “agujero” se ha cerrado. Con ésta patraña se amedrentó a toda una generación, se forraron unos cuantos y miles de activistas ecologistas vivieron del cuento.

Ahora es igual pero a gran escala, “el planeta se calienta, los hielos se derriten y asciende el nivel del mar”, es el nuevo “estado del miedo”, un camelo total. Sin embargo, el supuesto “calentamiento global” ha permitido a los vendedores del Apocalipsis y a las ideologías izquierdistas que no han aportado nada útil a la humanidad en 80 años, excepto dictadura, miseria e injusticia, crear un engaño colectivo del que se benefician extraordinariamente.

“El planeta se calienta”. Mentira, los gráficos de temperaturas medias mundiales muestran desde 2007 una bajada no una subida. En el verano de 2008, el que esto escribe estuvo en el santuario de ballenas del río San Lorenzo, cerca de Québec, y la bióloga marina que nos acompañaba nos explicó que el invierno anterior había sido el más frío que recordaba. Los jesuitas que llevan registros de la altura de la nieve caída en Québec desde hace 400 años, medirían la mayor altura en cuatro siglos.

La mayoría de las medidas de temperatura se toma en “islas de calor”, grandes ciudades y aeropuertos, también se utiliza el truco de emplear los años que convienen, y en la mayoría de los casos se realizan sin garantía alguna. En West Point, por ejemplo, con garantía de seriedad, continuidad y método, no se han producido cambios en la temperatura media en 175 años, 51ºF en 1826 y 51ºF en 2000.

Pero la prueba del nueve ha sido la realizada por unos hackers tras pillar a los “gurús” del calentamiento de la Universidad de East Anglia con el carrito de los helados. Han manipulado datos, han destruido pruebas y han silenciado o desacreditado a los disidentes. Y toda la información que utiliza la ONU y las organizaciones internacionales procede de esta fuente. Por cierto, estos mismos científicos predecían en los años 70 una nueva glaciación, pero como es mucho más rentable el calentamiento, han cambiado la predicción.

Ecoterrorismo

Este tipo de comportamientos, es lo que el conocido escritor Michael Crichton denomina “ecoterrorismo”: científicos dispuestos a modificar o manipular sus datos según las necesidades de las organizaciones que les subvencionan. Han falsificado de todo, pero lo más relevante han sido las temperaturas que no han crecido en los últimos diez años, lo que invalida totalmente la gran estafa del calentamiento. Una falsificación que no es nueva, porque es la que llevan haciendo décadas los marxista ecologistas, utilizando fotos de glaciares en verano con menos hielo, diciendo que son de invierno, o filmando desprendimientos de masas de hielo polar en verano, diciendo que es en invierno.

El CO2 en la atmósfera ha pasado de una media de 250 ppm a 385 ppm, pero en el Holoceno, hace 12.000 años, ese nivel era de 7.000 ppm, sin mediar actividad humana. De los gases emitidos por la centrales de de carbón, parte es CO2 y parte SO2, y ocurre que el SO2 refleja los rayos solares y, en consecuencia, enfría. El conjunto de emisiones contaminantes de las innumerables centrales de carbón, tenderá a enfriar y no a calentar en los próximos 20 años. Otra cosa distinta es el desastre ecológico en las zonas colindantes, pero eso no es calentamiento global, es contaminación local contra la que se debe luchar con todos los medios. Además, si hubiera un efecto invernadero, las temperaturas sólo podrían subir, y un invierno glacial como el actual sería imposible.

“Los hielos se derriten”, un camelo estratosférico. El Polo Sur, que contiene el 90% del hielo de la tierra, se esta enfriando, excepto en una pequeña zona. Las mediciones con radar de banda lateral muestran que la masa de hielo de la Antártida oeste crece al ritmo de 26,8 gigatoneladas año, y el hielo marino antártico dura ahora 21 días mas que en 1979. Hace dos años se produjo el invierno mas frío en 100 años en el hemisferio sur, hasta nevaría en Buenos Aires.

Y ya, la repanocha de la tomadura de pelo, llega cuando se afirma que “asciende el nivel del mar” ¿Dónde asciende? Cualquiera que viva o vaya habitualmente a la playa podrá comprobar la absoluta falsedad de la afirmación, no ha subido ni un centímetro en 60 años, y en 100 si miramos fotos antiguas de nuestras playas ha bajado. Si el deshielo fuera cierto, el nivel del mar habría crecido un metro o dos, y todas esas playas habrían desaparecido, entonces ¿qué trolas nos cuentan? Por ello, no se dejen engañar, crean solo lo que ven sus ojos, no hay más cambio climático que el natural.

Hace dos semanas se aprobó la Ordenanza para la convivencia ciudadana, que podéis encontrar aquí: http://www..dipgra.es/paginasbop/20091021002.pdf. Es larga, pero leerla será una lectura terrorífica. Terrorífica porque encontraréis más de 150 artículos decididos a burocratizar las convivencia entre personas, a controlar toda relación y actividad social en la ciudad de Granada y evitar que no haya actividad que se realice fuera de lo establecido por el Ayuntamiento. Lo peor no es que asume que los granadinos no somos capaces de relacionarnos correctamente si no nos dicen cómo. Ni que obtusas mentes crean que una normativa que prohíbe y castiga puede ser educativa. Tampoco es lo peor saber que ya se compara con leyes como la de vagos y maleantes de la II República y el franquismo. Podría ser lo peor que la policía local tenga la potestad de decir qué relaciones entran dentro de una "correcta convivencia", pero no, lo peor es su contenido:

- Prohibida "toda manifestación de arte espontáneo": mimos, pintores, cantantes, guitarristas y otros músicos tienen negado su derecho a tocar en la calle sin un permiso del ayuntamiento y una licencia bajo riesgo de multa y requisación de instrumentos, material y ganancias. No, perdonen, no es sólo eso, también significa que "yo no podré irme con un amigo a un parque a tocar la guitarra, porque sería ilegal y me multarían por ello".

- Prohibido "cualquier trabajo o relación entre personas monetaria en la vía pública". Es decir, no está permitido ningún trabajo, venta o transacción... Si tu gata ha dado a luz, ten cuidado con ofrecer los cachorros en la calle, puede que te salga caro.

- Prohíben dormir en la calle, cualquier petición de limosna y, en definitiva, toda actividad que se asocie a "pobreza y mendicidad", por supuesto, con multas asociadas. Nadie se plantea que quizás (solo quizás) si duermen en la calle, si tienen que pedir limosna, no es con gusto y disfrute. Y si lo es, creo que no hay duda de que una multa y requisación de lo ganado hasta el momento no solucionará nada.

- Se regula desde ahora dónde cómo y de que forma pueden los niños "correr y jugar a la pelota", prohibiéndose en otros casos. Los niños molestan y no son rentables. No dan dinero, así que mejor quitarlos de nuestra vista (o al menos de la de los turistas, que son los que realmente importan).

- Prohibido "sacudir mantas, regar macetas o colgar ropa en los balcones y ventanas". Sí.

- Prohibida "toda muestra de actividad sexual (da igual si no hay dinero de por medio)", dejando la valoración de qué es "actividad sexual" al Policía Local. Tengan cuidado con qué hacen con sus parejas porque pueden enfrentarse a multas importantes.

- Prohibido "comer y beber en la calle". Da igual si es un bocadillo, un shawarma, un botellín de agua, o un refresco. Os podéis llevar una multa si la policía os ve.

- Prohibido el "trabajo del sexo si este es visible". La prostitución sólo será considerada falta muy grave si ésta se ejerce en el centro de la ciudad o cerca de centros educativos. Si están alejadas y no molestan, si no se ven, entonces sólo serán faltas leves.... Los trabajadores del sexo no nos importan, tan solo nos preocupa que la gente vea que existe en nuestra ciudad.

- Prohibido "repartir panfletos o documentos de cualquier tipo en la calle", "así como pegar carteles". Para culminar. No podemos quedarnos impasibles ante una normativa que reduce las libertades ciudadanas aún más, que lleva a un nuevo nivel el proceso de infantilización social y excluye aún más a los ya excluidos. No queremos que esa sea nuestro mundo.

China prohíbe abrir "webs"personales.

Los proveedores de Internet tienen prohibido, bajo esa nueva normativa, acoger sitios web personales, y sólo los negocios con licencias en vigor u organizaciones autorizadas por el Gobierno chino podrán conseguir esa autorización. La normativa se aplicará a las nuevas peticiones de web personales, pero las ya existentes también corren peligro. Según informa hoy el diario South China Morning Post, numerosas web personales han sido ya canceladas en las provincias de Jiangsu, Henan, Zhejiang, Jiangxi y Shanghai.

"La mayoría de las webs de todo el mundo están creadas por individuos", ha manifestadoel administrador de una de estas páginas. "Internet necesita libertad, necesita compartir y necesita difundir. Matar las web personales es como matar a un niño en su cuna", agregó. "El Gobierno debe dejar de usar métodos de la Revolución Cultural en su gestión de la plataforma de Internet", señaló esta fuente en referencia a la persecución masiva de "contrarrevolucionarios" e intelectuales llevada a cabo por el presidente Mao Zedong entre 1966 y 1976. Calificada de "draconiana" por el rotativo, la medida coincide con el cierre de 530 sitios de intercambio de contenidos P2P también con la intención expresa de limitar los contenidos "pornográficos".

China ha llevado a cabo numerosas campañas contra la pornografía en Internet en los últimos años, aunque el resultado más bien se ha aplicado contra sitios que recogen contenidos disidentes y contrarios al régimen del Partido Comunista de China (PCCh). La pornografía sigue siendo habitual y de fácil acceso en red de China. A pesar de este estricto control, la comunidad de internautas chinos es la mayor del mundo, con más de 300 millones, por delante de la de Estados Unidos

PITTSBURGH Police fired canisters of pepper spray and smoke at marchers protesting the Group of 20 summit Thursday after anarchists responded to calls to disperse by rolling trash bins and throwing rocks.

The march turned chaotic at just about the time that President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama arrived for a meeting with leaders of the world's major economies.

The clashes began after hundreds of protesters, many advocating against capitalism, tried to march from an outlying neighborhood toward the convention center where the summit is being held.

The protesters banged on drums and chanted "Ain't no power like the power of the people, 'cause the power of the people don't stop."

The marchers included small groups of self-described anarchists, some wearing dark clothes and bandanas and carrying black flags. Others wore helmets and safety goggles.

One banner read, "No borders, no banks," another, "No hope in capitalism." A few minutes into the march, protesters unfurled a large banner reading "NO BAILOUT NO CAPITALISM" with an encircled "A," a recognized sign of anarchists.

The marchers did not have a permit and, after a few blocks, police declared it an unlawful assembly. They played an announcement over a loudspeaker telling people to leave or face arrest and then police in riot gear moved in to break it up.

Protesters split into smaller groups. Some rolled large metal trash bins toward police, and a man in a black hooded sweat shirt threw rocks at a police car, breaking the front windshield. Protesters broke windows in a few businesses, including a bank branch and a Boston Market restaurant.

Officers fired pepper spray and smoke at the protesters. Some of those exposed to the pepper spray coughed and complained that their eyes were watering and stinging.

Police were planning a news conference to discuss their response. Officers were seen taking away a handful of protesters in cuffs.

About an hour after the clashes started, the police and protesters were at a standoff. Police sealed off main thoroughfares to downtown.

Twenty-one-year-old Stephon Boatwright, of Syracuse, N.Y., wore a mask of English anarchist Guy Fawkes and yelled at a line of riot police. He then sat cross-legged near the officers, telling them to let the protesters through and to join their cause.

"You're actively suppressing us. I know you want to move," Boatwright yelled, to applause from the protesters gathered around him.

Protesters complained that the march had been peaceful and that police were trampling on their right to assemble.

"We were barely even protesting," said T.J. Amick, 22, of Pittsburgh. "Then all of a sudden, they come up and tell us we're gathered illegally and start using force, start banging their shields, start telling us we're going to be arrested and tear gassed. ... We haven't broken any laws."

Bret Hatch, 26, of Green Bay, Wis., was carrying an American flag and a "Don't Tread on Me" flag.

"This is ridiculous. We have constitutional rights to free speech," he said.

The National Lawyer's Guild, a liberal legal-aid group, said one of its observers, a second year law student, was among those arrested. Its representatives were stationed among the protesters, wearing green hats.

"I think he was totally acting according to the law. I don't think he was provoking anyone at all," said Joel Kupferman, a member of the guild. "It's really upsetting because he's here to serve, to make sure everyone else can be protected. ... It's a sign that they are out of control."

The march had begun at a city park, where an activist from New York City, dressed in a white suit with a preacher's collar, started it off with a speech through a bullhorn.

"They are not operating on Earth time. ... They are accommodating the devil," he said. "To love democracy and to love the earth is to be a radical now."

The activist, Billy Talen, travels the country preaching against consumerism. He initially identified himself as "the Rev. Billy from the Church of Life After Shopping."

The G-20 summit was beginning Thursday evening with a welcome ceremony at the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden and ends late Friday afternoon after a day of meetings at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.

Dignitaries were arriving in waves and were heading to a city under heavy security. Police and National Guard troops guarded many downtown intersections, and a maze of tall metal fences and concrete barriers shunted cars and pedestrians.

Hundreds of police in riot gear were seen massing at Phipps, but only a handful of demonstrators were there.
